Valentine swing is all about socializing, creating new friendships, partnerships ;-) and meeting old and new friends, all in the name of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP.
That is also why all of our pros are known for their social dancing and dancing with everyone!
Meeting everyone
At Valentine Swing we try to encourage new meetings. That is why we have created the Valentine Swing speed dating on friday evenings. The concept, introduced in 2022, quickly became a hugh success and created a lot of buzz! The idea with out speed dating is that you get to dance with everyone at the event, no matter their background, level or if they are pros or not. This way you get to know new people and it will definitly be easier to invite them to dance later on at the socials!

Tana Abeni
Tana is an Italian DJ based in Israel, where she discovered her passion for West Coast Swing. She quickly started DJing in the local party scene.🎉 Charmed by the powerful impact of music on people, Tana sought to improve her skills by learning from some of the best DJs worldwide.🌏 After playing social sets across Europe for a couple years, in 2022 she began Competition DJing.🎧 Inspired by her love for community building, Tana co-founded the Westie DJs Guild, a platform that connects DJs from around the world, fostering networking and education.🎶❤️ She looks forward to celebrating love and making you dance at Valentine Swing 2024!❤️🥰
Crew - Paulina Górka
DJ Pikachu ~ Paulina Górka, a talented DJ, brings her lifelong musical journey to the West Coast Swing scene. With a background in choir singing and guitar playing, music has always been a constant companion in her life. In 2015, she discovered her true passion for West Coast Swing and fully immersed herself in this captivating dance style. Transitioning from being a ballroom dance teacher, Paulina wholeheartedly embraced WCS, becoming an instructor and a highly sought-after DJ at local parties.
Paulina's sets are a reflection of her deep connection to the dance and music. She has an innate ability to curate an eclectic mix of energetic and atmospheric tracks from various genres. Her extensive collection is meticulously selected to create an unforgettable experience on the dance floor. With her keen sense of musicality, Paulina takes pride in introducing captivating tracks at WCS events that quickly gain recognition and popularity among fellow DJs and dancers alike.

Crew - Topi Salmi
Topi began DJing at local parties mostly by an accident. But after starting, it’s been “all in”.
Today he is DJing weekly at local parties, and is an integral part of most events in Finland. Topi has DJ:ed at many of the biggest European events
Topi finds it important to balance accessible music that is fun to dance to regardless of dance experience, while still making it layered and interesting enough for the high-level dancers. Regardless of the time and vibe, you will always hear a large variety of music from swingy jazz and blues to body moving contemporary and pure and simple acoustic songs, be it one of the newest hits or an old classic.
Topi is all about the community and will always do his best to make every event he attends or DJs the best it can possibly be, always willing to help and brings with him the most energizing positive vibe.
Crew - Koichi Tsunoda
Koichi is a US-based DJ who’s been DJing since 2012. He still remembers, after doing his first set in July 2012, that he probably wouldn’t DJ again. After a few more “I will prob not DJ again” thoughts, his thoughts switched to “Oh, I want to DJ more…alone…for the whole set.” 
When he realized he wanted to DJ more and seemed to be reasonable at it, he started to reach out to events to guest DJ when an event was able to have him. Those opportunities eventually lead to being hired at events like MADjam, Wild Wild Westie, and Swingtacular, to name a few.
For events he works at, people have come to expect him to close the ballroom one of the nights, which often ends up being Saturday night. Being basically a newbie at non-US events, however, he is super excited and is looking forward to bringing his musical influence to Valentine Swing!
